Lucy Beaumont (born )〔 is a stand-up comedian from Hull. She won the BBC Radio New Comedy Award in 2012 and was a finalist on ''So You Think You're Funny'' in 2011.
Beaumont married Jon Richardson in April 2015 and lives in Surrey.
==Background==
Beaumont grew up in Spring Bank and later lived in Hessle with her playwright mother Gill Adams. She once worked at the meat counter of Asda in Hessle Road. Although she had a brief acting career, she switched to comedy in an attempt to conquer stage fright in preparation for an acting career〔(【引用サイトリンク】title=Hull comedian Lucy Beaumont reveals fiance Jon Richardson proposed to her with butter dish )〕 and was inspired by her sitcom-like life in Hull.
